INVESTIGATION BY CID

Although u/s 202 Cr.P.C a magistrate can order investigation by a police officer or by any other person. A magistrate had sought information whether he can ordre investigation by a State CID.  According to me, he can as CID can come within the meaning of "any other person" in s.202. Can someone enlighten me on the issue? If I am right, then can not the Magistrate order investigation by even CBI also?

a magistrate can didect the police to investigate a case but has no power to direct the CBI. only  State govt, central Govt and a high cout or higher has the power to direct CBI.
