Is there any special concession for disabled?

Dear Sir,

Is there any special concession for physically handicapped litigants for early hearing before HC/SC? If so, are they applicable for all cases like writ, civil suits, criminal suits etc.

Thanking you and expecting your early reply,

Yours sincerely,

R. GANESAN.

I do not think that there is any provision for such special concessions/treatment.  However,  the Courts always view such cases with compassion and sensitivity and  it is for the parties concerned to draw specific attention of the Courts to the physical disability of the litigant  and seek   due consideration of this aspect.

Dear Sir,

I came across that consumer forums and Information Commissions list cases pertaining to disabled/elderly early.

Is there any such provision in HC/SC?

Thanks.

Yours sincerely,

R. GANESAN.
