Suchitra ji, am happy that you took sometime from your busy schedule to listen....beneath this misery are voices and questions which has potentials to shake the status quo. That's why it is touching and at the same time empowering...I see hope also when people start questioning the status quo...

Renuka ji,

It will be more justified than "Jan ne ka haq" if we say it "Right to be informed".  Every action / move taken by the Government (including all 3 legislative, executive & judiciary) (as the Government /Governance is not the ruler people of India but only elected representatives of THE RULER PEOPLE OF INDIA) should be informed to the RULER PEOPLE OF INDIA at their own.  Why should people submit application for information?

To clarify more;

Jan ne ka haq - People have to exercise it by apply.

Right to be informed - It is the duty of the representative Government to inform to the people by itself at their own.
