Lock in period and Notice

Hi My leave and licence (rent) agreement has a lock in period of 6 months and a separate clause of 1 month notice to vacate from both sides. Can I give a month's notice exactly 1 month before the lock in period of 6 months ends (at the beginning of 6th month). My landlord claims that notice period can start only after lock in period ends!! Please suggest.

Yes! You can issue a Legal notice immediately prior or before the beginning of 6 months lease and licence period or immediately after the end of 6 months period

Locking period means a perios in which you are ready to lock yourself with the contract/ L &L, you can issue notice at any time but the period of vacating start only after completion of six months, please check your documents if any penalty mentioned for violating the Locking Period
