Notice of Motion" and "Chamber Summons

What do you mean by "Notice of Motion" and "Chamber Summons"?

What is the difference between both?

Notice of motion means, the Judge orders for notice to the respondent in the said case and will adjourn the matter to a specific day.

In case of Chamber summons, Judge orders for appearance of a party on the same day after some time

Notice of Motion means if someone has file a civil suit in the court of law and in same case he prayed for the injunction then that separate application for the temporary(interim) injunction is call N.M. And Chamber Summons means during the course of said civil suit if he require some other order from the court then he has to file chamber summons.

Formal notification to one or more parties that the named party has filed a motion (involving them in a lawsuit ) before a court which will be heard on the stated date.

Chamber summons or Interlocatory summons:

This document is a summons used to bring an existing legal action before the court for orders that are designed to ready the action for hearing. These may also be known as a chamber summons or application and are generally supported by affidavits and not spoken evidence.
