Can an Investigating Police officer dispose/close a criminal complaint while there was a stay on few accused in court. If closed what documents/case dairy to be submitted in court. What the complaint nexts steps should be to reopen the case either in a higher court and procedures.

i also want to know along with the time limit to submit the documents in the court as the matter is closed also which case can be closed & which can't be closed by the investigation officer.

It can be that, the question was posted in a wrong forum-subitem as the legality of cr.p.c was unknown to known off w.r.t to procedures of an investagating officer to close any case, as case may be.
