Pre-independence acts

Respected Sir/Madam,

Could any one clarify me how the acts passed before independence are validated by the Government of India. Improtant Acts like RBI Act,1934 or Indian Contract Act,1871, we are using today how they got validity.

Laws that were not violating the constitution provisions were continued. Those laws which were fully or partially violating were either removed or enabled by successive amendments all these years. The line of demarcation is date of adoption of the constitution and not the date of independence.
