Preliminary inquiry u/s 340 crpc

A petitioner in criminal matter gives false evidence on oath . Opposition has filed Application u/s 340 CrPC . The Ld. JM has directed the Applicant [who made application u/s 340 CrPC]  to give his evidence in support of his averments in 340 CrPC Application .

My query is whether CrPC 340 Applicant has to produce all his evidence and witnesses at this stage ? and whether some part of evidence can not be produced when Complaint is filed by the JM for trial of the accused perjuror ?

Is preliminary Inquiry in 340 CrPC not only to the extent of only finding whether prima facie case is made out ?

Is the Inquiry u/s 340 CrPC as exhausting as u/s 202 CrPC ?
