Hi,
I am planning to purchase land in Pune (Maharashtra). This land is not NA. The land is in gram panchayat. However corporation boundary has just reached the border of this land, and it may be added soon to corporation.
It is 2000 sq ft of land. It is being sold by a person. The person has make plots of 2 gunthas, 4 gunthas and 5 gunthas and is providing electricity connection and road in his land. Total area is more than 1 acre.
I am planing to purchase 1 plot of 2 gunthas from him.
I am not a farmer. So can I purchase this land?
Also what do I have to take care of legally so that I am not cheated by him? He has told me, that my name will come in 7/12 after about 3 months.
