Once settlement is there you can finish the matter in lower court also , no need to go to HC which will be expansive.

Yes you are right but there are simple methods to achieve this at lower court,contact your advocate.

You can go for acquittal in lower court, where the girl would testify that there was no harassment and it was all done in haste and under pressure.
But it is not possible if even chargesheet is not filed or evidence is already been taken.

This is done at trial court and not challanged, hence no citation can be made.
Any lawyer worth its salt would know this process.

The courts are quashing it.
There is one solitary judgement of Mumbai High Court, in which quash was denied even after the compromise.
Which HC your case is in?
