rejection of plaint

can a plaint having all legal ingredients be rejected without hearing plaintiff. ????

I have filed a plaint for maintenace by wife...but was rejected summarily with out issuing notice.

If a Plaint has all the legal ingredients it can't be rejected even after hearing. A Plaint can be rejected summarily without issuing Notice but recording reasons is mandatory.
