How to get ride of a fake Dowry case? If someone files a 498a,in order to take revenge, what will be the final outcome of this case? Can anyone opt to live seperately by paying certain monthly allimony to her wife.Can he be able to marry a girl of her own choice finally after the judgement?????//

a man can remarry only after obtaining divorce from his wife, divorce case under dowry act or 498a or domestic violence case are different proceeding from divorce case. you have to face the proceedings under sec 498a or can go for quashing of FIR .

well as soon as u are being made accused of 498 you have to first get rid of this than only you can move to a divoerce to get rid of it . in this case of 498 the courtt will never decide you to live septartely or maintaince it is only decided in the family court .

First seek divorce.
Thereafter whether 498a is pending or not, a person can remarry,.
