Resignation in probation period

I was in IT company. Company has commitment period of 3 years, which is started from date of joining. But there is 3 months of probation. Because of improper work environment of company, I resign the company in my probation period with serving of 1 month notice period. Now company is asking me to pay 3 times of salary. Now my questions are :-

What should I do now?

In probation, only company has rights to check employee's performance OR employee also have rights to check company's work environment ?

The probationary period allows both employee and employer to see if they are a ‘good fit’ and to make things easier if they need to terminate the contract.

and for the other terms, need to see your contract with company.
