Section 340

can application under section 340 be filed in a civil suit where the PW-1 has given a prima facie false statement on affidavit in a house of court

Will you please guide me the procedure to file an application u/s 340

It has to be filed by the judge of the civil court with the magistrate because the said crime of perjury happened in his/her court. You have to urge the judge to file it.
