Any person who is doing the consultation under the direct and indirect taxes are called as tax consultant. The minimum qualification are prescribed under the Income tax Act, VAT Act, and other Acts separately. Usually the minimum qualification is a bachelor degree in commerce or accountancy is required. The registration is required under the Income Tax Act and State VAT Act and get registration separately. The Law graduates need not take any other registration under the IT Act or State VAT Act.
