TERMINATION POST RESIGNATION

DUE TO SOME INTEGRITY VIOLATION IN THE TEAM REPORTING INTO ME, AN AUDIT WAS STARTED. I WAS LALSO ASKED FEW QUESTIONS BY THE AUDIT TEAM THOUGH NO FORMAL COMMUNICATION WAS MADE TO ME IF REGARDING THE FACT THAT A FORMAL ENQUIRY WAS STARTED. I SUBMITTED MY RESIGNATION AS I  HAD RECEIVED ANOTHER GOOD OFFER. HOWEVER, POST 15 DAYS AFTER MY SUBMITTING MY RESIGNATION, I WAS INFORMED BY A LETTER THAT MY SERVICES HAS BEEN SUSPENDED AS THYE COMPANY HAD FOUND MY INVOLVEMENT IN THE INTEGRITY VIOLATION IN THE PRELIMINARY INVESTIGATION. AND THAT I WILL BE INFORMED ABOUT THE RESULT OF THE INVESTIGATION ONCE ITS COMPLETED.

AS A RESULT MY RESIGNATION HAS ALSO NOT BE CONSIDERED. CAN THE COMPANY DECLINE TO ACCEPT MY RESIGNATION AFTER 15 DAYS IN THIS CASE?

Basically what I feel is an ego-conflict of your supervisor or HR desk. Unable to accept the folly in their end they may be trying to use you as a scape goat by piggy backing unwarranted offences on you. Get the labor ministry to look into the aspect and/or have your legal counsel to challenge them.
