The persons who are enrolled in the Bar Council are called Lawyers and when they are representing someone in court they are called there Advocates.

1) one has to pass  llb.

2) thereafter pass bar council exam.

3) register himself as a member of any bar council.

now he is an advocate and can plead in favour of a party at court. he is now an advocate.

---    baste bad me aata hain, pahele exam pass karne parta.

the diffrence lies on the point that, an advocate is allowed to appear at the court in favour of a party.

a non advocate may have the knowledge law but not allowed to appear in favour of a party.
