Writing a will

Hello Friends,

I would like to write a will. Can somebody share a format and also the procedure. Eg. - Should this be on a stamp paper, if yes what value, should this be registered, etc.

There is no prescribed format by the law. You can get the formats on net. It is better to register the will. Two witness are required to attest the will. It need not be on the stamp paper. Only your self acquired property and only your share in the inherited property can be bequethed under the will.
