Agricultural land to be purchased

Respected Sir/Madam,

We wish to purchase agricultural land in the name of partnership firm with an object of agricultural activities. All partners are holding agricultural lands in their name. The land to be purchased in the name of partnership firm is more than 100 acres. Kindly guide me regarding legal permissions/provisions which i will required to follow.

Which state are you hailing from? In some states like Maharashtra, UP there is bar on purchasing agricultural land.
Consult local lawyer.
