My Dad and Mom both are working in UP government JOB. Dad was working as Marketing Inspector Food and supply department and Mom is a assistance Teacher in Primary school. My Dad was expired on 1993 in a accident at the age of 44-45 and had approx 13-14years of Job in Dept.At starting my Mom was getting the full pension including DA and all but after three or four years Government recover the given DA for the period and started giving half of the amount of Basic pay as pension.to get the full pension we have approached to High court of Allahabad but they told if both are in Gov.Job then DA will not add in Pension. Sir Please guide to get the proper pension.
we purchased a flat in navi mumbai with famous builder suntec realty a year ago.
we made 70% payment to him as per the requirements then.
But due to delay in further payment made by us builder has forfeited the flat and the money saying there was a clause in the agreement.
the reason for the delay in payment from our side was because of unreasonable interest charged by the builder and we asked for the explaination. but builder did not reply and we did not pay. finally we got notice from builder saying we have to pay 9lac in 7 days else allotment of flat will be cancelled. A letter of cancellation of allotment is sent by the builder now.
1)A person has leased out commercial property @ Rs 30000/- per month. Rent is received after TDS deduction @ 10% = Rs 27000/- per month. What would be the taxable income and net tax payable with regard to this rent received? Please help and elaborate with calculations if possible. Also provide any ways of tax planning/saving regarding the same. 2)Is there any difference between computing tax on rental income from residential property and rental income from commercial property? Do they both fall under the same head "Income from House Property"? 3)How does one differentiate Residential Property from Commercial Property? What are the documents which show the difference between the two? 4)Is there any possibility that rental income from such a simple lease agreement can tantamount to profits/gains/income from profession or business? The assesee, who has given the property on rent, is a retired semi-literate person and is not involved in the activity going on in the leased premises.
