Change of bride's surname after marriage

Sir,
Bride and groom are of different surname . Can bride keep her surname unchanged after marriage . What does rule say in this regard ?

She can use her parent's surname after marriage also. As per rules she can use either surname. As per rites & customs she may use husband'surname. She can use parent' surname + her usual name alias her husband's surname + her usualname.

There is no rule mandating the woman to change her maiden name after marriage, she can very well retain her maiden name even after marriage

In fact, there is no rule as to how a person ought to be named nor is it mandatory that a citizen should have a surname. These are matters of customs and practices but personal choice prevails.
