Hi , I m a muslim guy n love a hindu girl , we both r 25 years old n want to get married but our families r not ready as we dont wnt chnge r religion so we have decide to get marry under special martiage act, we both belongs to same city and families r against it so we can not do the registrtion in our city now the question is,Can we get marry in other city on the basis of fake address prof as there is a clause in Special marriage act that one of the parties shoul be residing more tan 30days in that city where registation will be done, And if we get marriage certification on the basis of it the can anybody cancel this marriage by prooving that submit address proof was not correct, And if it happens then what legaly action her family can take against us....My friends says that only age matters ,Dear all need your help n pls give clarity on the same.

Since both of you are adults, there is not much your families can do to dissuade you. However it is best to visit the Office of the Marriage Register and fill the form. The notice of intended marriage is generally published within the office of the Registrar. You will need- Documents showing date of birth, address proof and identity and 2 pass port size photos of each of you.

It is better not to give fake address. But if you give it, your marriage is not likely to be treated as illegal.

Mr.Aileen is right that chances are least that your parents will come to know about it,through publication of notices by registrar,if you plan cool.
Mr.Palnitkar v is also right in his advice that do not use fabricated address proof.
If it is not possible in your city look for a friend of another city ready to give an affidavit that you both are residing with him since stipulated period,and things will get in order.

Just go to the temple and get marry, in some temples, after marriage they will issue receipt of marriage. You can produce before the registrar of marriage while registering your marriage.

And if You decide to go temple,GO to ARYSAMAJ,they do it in very legal manner,and issue certificate of marriage.

you cannot perform the said marriage in a temple or in a arya smaj mandir.The only way to you to perform the marriage under spcial marriage act and I advise you not to give fake addresses or particular.

JUST Apply for the marriage registration in registrar office for intention of marriage with all the genuine documents and after that register your marriage after 30 days.
You have not to worry regarding the parents of both the sides as both of you are adult.

The man has already told no party is going for conversion,so no temple marriage or nikahnama was attracted,but yet Mr. Rajeev opined so,that is why i advised him that if he decides at all for a temple marriage,Aryasamaj would be better and preferable.

Thnks All, one more thing that her father is lawyer thats why we dont wnat to take any risk of registration in same city...
And as it was suggested that if we submit fake address prrof n get maaried then what legaly action he can take about us....

Experts have already advised on all aspects of your query. If you want to follow law you should follow it on all fours. Do not commit any illegal thing while registering your marriage under the Special Marriage Act. Do not go to temple or Arya Samaj since you both do not propose to change your religions.
