Committee member in mchsl

Can an Indian Resident Member who mostly remains out of India 6/7 months each year and who is bound to miss committee meetings qualify to be a committee member in Maharashtra Coop Housing Society Ltd.?

Also, I have three sons - do I qualify to be a committee member?

Please clarify as I am forced to enter the committee even though I am reluctant.

I am a law abiding Citizens and do not like to violet any rule or law.

You cannot be forced to be a committee member of the Housing Society. If you are forced you can reject to become committee members. Your sons may join as committee members.

It is purely your own choice or option to become a committee member , you cannot be forced to become a committee member against your willingness

Yes, there is no law that prevents from being a Committee member. Of course, taking up the responsibility is a matter of your choice.
