respected sir/madam, wt is the basic difference between advocate & lawyer ? why some attach advocate & others are lawyer but both are similar in their profession.

This quarry has already been resolved. However, an advocate is a person who is enrolled in the roll of Bar Council and has been granted license to practice on behalf of his/her clients in the court of law. And, a lawyer, who has law degree but has no right to practice in the Court of law.
