(Querist) 04 June 2017 This query is : Resolved
There is guidelines for EOW to take up cases of not less than Rs. 2 crores in property disputes as per “Functional Requirement Specifications (Annexure-I), Crime & Criminal Tracking Network & Systems”.

The question is - If any officer has authority to overrule this norm. A response shall be highly appreciated.

There is a property dispute between my wife and heirs of the property as the actual owner had expired. Because of greed generated because of present property scenario, the heirs came out saying that the documents are forged. The I/O asked us for bribe. On refusal he started fabricating evidence.

My was the ostensible owner and later the property was sold to her by the owner to her. At that time property transactions were carried out by way of GPA, especially in Laldora area in Delhi.

The question is in connection with the above matter.

Examination of case related documents is necessary before arriving at some purposeful opinion.

Even otherwise, it is not understood, how you link your case with the EOW rules, when the case relates to evidence based property laws, when there is no such case of money laundering, tax evasion, illegal foreign trade etc. Even Land grabbing/Real estate frauds has not yet been established in your case.

So, not to get swayed away with some misunderstanding due to misinterpretations, you may better get your case examined by some expert on property laws and fraudulent nature of transactions.
