Dear All,
I want to know that what is the procedure of transfer of property in jaipur. my grandfather is died in 2007 and now my father want to sell this property and my grandfather didn't made any will.

When your grand father is died without making any arrangements in respect of the properties, then all the legal heirs are entittle for equal rights in those properties. Your father cannot sell it alone. If your father is the only son then he has to give a vardi to the concerned revenue department along with the survivors certificate issued by the Tahasildar of the Taluka to get his name to the property, only after that he can sell the property.

I do agree with experts. All legal heirs have equal rights and non of them including you or your father can sale the property alone . do not repeat the queries
