Purchaseing a land

(Querist) 25 August 2012 This query is : Resolved 
I am ready to buy a land of 06 dec. value of which is Rs. 7,50,000. Stamp duty, necessary to pay is Rs. 37,500. Can I make the deed on stamp paper of Rs. 5,000(1000+1000+1000+1000+500+100+100+100+100+100=5000,10 pages.) and pay the rest amount of stamp duty by a demand draft?

No,u will have to pay full stamp duty by way of stamp papers for RS.37.500/-only.

No you can not pay the rest amount of stamp duty by a demand draft.
