My relative was retired from irrigation uttarakhand and taking own pension as well as taking family pension after death of his wife who was died during her job period in education department uttar pradesh.it is possible to get both pension.

Author, No. if the dependent of a family pensioner whose age exceeds 25 years of age and having no source to livelihood due to his incapacity, then only that dependent may get the pension. Otherwise, it will not be sanctioned.

I DISAGREE 100%
The clause of dependency and 25 years of age applies to other family members and not spouse.
He is correctly getting two pensions and do not waste stationary on useless complaints.
try another ways for personal vendetta.

As per rules, the pensioner is eligible for his own pension and also the family pension of spouse.
