Deputation of contractual employee for 2-3 months election duty

Sir, I am a contract basis employee in Z.P.
For Z.P elections, I got deputation order. This work will be going for near about 2 months.
So please guide me whether the contract basis employee can be deputed for election duty?

as long as you are not appointed as Presiding Officer then nothing seems illegal.
