Non Payment of Salary

Hi,

Need guidance please.

A situation where employer verbally says he does not have sufficient funds to pay salary for last 3 months.

What is the action to be taken by employee in that situation.

Any way to get the dues settled immediately.

As per Payment of wages act, the wages shall be paid on or before7th or 10th of the succeeding month if the number of employees are less than 1000 and more than 1000 respectively.
