Jurisdiction issue for cheque cases will not remain a repeated query for long long time to come due to rapid changes being made in the law.

1) Parliament has passed the law to null the effect of Dashrah case but it has yet to come in force.

2) The new law provides for jurisdiction with back effect so all the pending cases has to be transferred.

3) However during this intermediate period there will be complications for decided cases since if the decision goes against accused the same can be challenged for lack of jurisdiction.

So there will further changes or directions from courts or law makers to solve these problems.

Things are moving on this front regularly.

Govt is bringing ORDINANCE since the law could not be passed in RAJYA SABHA., as announced on 10th June 2015.

All accused whose cases will be refiled due to this ordinance will have good chance to come out of the problem.

Go instantly for revision as soon as you know of notice or summons from new place .
