According to MV Act Sec 181 - Rs 500. But it also depends on the sections mentioned on police report and the state amendments.

The Owner of the Car as well as the parents/ guardians of the said Minor are liable for the same and they will go behind bars under simple imprisonment alongwith the fine.
This is MV Act and Minor cannot be sent behind bars except for two situations --- 1. When the punishment is for life; 2. When the punishment is for RI.
and if the Minor is taken behind bars then lodge a writ petition against the State seeking compensation for the violation of the Laws regarding Minors as mentioned in JJ Act.

If the minor is of age below 18 provisions of Juvenile Justice(care and protection of children) Act 2000 will apply and will bw dealt with accordingly.

Don't make this matter much serious since drinvig not entered in to accident etc. The driver without license shall get a maximum punishment of fine Rs.500/- and the owner of the vehicle also become liable if police charged case against him along with driver.
