HI TO ALL.....
HI I HAVE COMPLETED MY ENGG DEGREE IN APRIL 2008.BUT AFTER 14 MONTHS I GOT THE LETTER FROM THE DIRECTOR THAT MY PROJECT IS UNSATISFACTORY AND THEY ARE GOING TO EXPELL MY ROLL NO FROM THE INSTITUTION...SO I HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUERIES.....
1.IS IT POSSIBLE TO EXPEL MY ROLL NO AFTER ISSUING A DEGREE CERTIFICATE?IF NOT PLS TELL ME THE IDEAS SO THAT I CAN GO AGAINST THE INSTITUTE
2.THE SAME DIRECTOR EVALUATED MY PROJECT REPORT AND AWARDED THE GRADE AND MARKS CARD.SO CAN I GO AGAINST HIM?IF YES PLS SUGGEST ME THE RULES SO ACCORDING TO THAT I CAN GO AGAINST HIM?
3.I WANT TO CLOSE THIS CASE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE....SO PLS TELL ME THE SIMPLE WAY TO COME OUT FROM THIS .....

May be the university while accessing the project have rejected your project. Otherwise the person who has once accessed the project and awarded the grade is solely responsible for his work. However meet you director and resolve the problem. This will enable you to know actual cause of your problem.

prior to taking any legal action, first find out what are the relevant rules in this regard.
neither the university nor you can go beyond the law/ rules/ regulations.
however if such rules or regulations are ultra vires then those can be challenged before the court.
it has to be seen what compelled the university to reject your project after the degree has been issued.
find out other things also like any damage done to your project or the college officials might have lost your project.
you will have to take quick steps in order to avoid any inconvenience.

Expert : Kiran Kumar is right but your query is very strange ,never heard of a case like that ,which university is this????

Dear Pradeep,
The student guide issued by individual Universities contains all such rules and procedures. You may therefore please check the detailed rules for appointment of examiners, examination of project report and review or revaluation system, as may be avilable in the said studsent guide issued by your university.
A simple mention of project "not satisfactory" is no valid reason for rejection of the project unless specific reason is quoted, like detection of plagiarism, or rechecking after receipt of complaint about use of unfair means in preparation of project report, etc.

Whenever such matters come, and if the author name is available (not Anonymous), then please try to visit the Author's expert column, find out whether there was any similar post and then try to attend the query. In fact, we should advise the querist to stick to the original thread for the sake of continuity.
I consistently check up, and insist for maintenance of the same thread. It will be better if others also could do similarly.
The whole matter hinges on the alleged "forgery of signature".
