My grand mother after the death of my grand father made release deed to my mother for 174 yards in 1990 we have not registered it in sub-register office now we like to register the land on my mothers name.
Now my grand mother,his daughter and husband are demanding money to register land on my mothers name. what to do.

Just file a suit for general partition and seperate possession, being a legal heir of your grand father , your mother entittle to the equal share in the properties of the death of the grand father

You have no option except to negotiate with them. Civil suits are lengthy procedure. Better pay them get the Deed of relinqueshment registered this time.

It is not possible to register the release deed with out their consent.

After the demise of your grand father, all his legal heirs have equal share i.e., 1/3 share in the subject property.
Your grand mother executed a unregistered Release Deed with respect to the entire extent of the subject Property.
Unregistered release deed cannot confirm any title with respect to the any share. Hence, you should have to get the consent or no objection from your sister and then get register it.
