Mis-use of Police for Civil matter

Financial claim against counter claim remaining to be settled, how can Police be estopped from harrasing a Senior Citizen (title holder) on a complaint of one of the beneficiaries of sale proceeds of immovable property who is already indebted to the Title holder ?

You just file civil suit before the competent court and forward the copy of ordrsheet along with petition to the concerned police station covering your lawyer's letter to that effect.

Take up the matter with Higher Police authorities. You should also write to Human Rights Commission. Always send a copy to the officer in Charge of the particular Police Station then see the results. Remember one thing that the Police is the most coward community of the legal system. Police is always afraid of his service.

yes. You can also file writ against the police authority to stop them indulging in such coercive tactics.
