regarding converting agricultural land to non agricultural land

Dear Sir,

I have land of about 10 acres in gulburga,karnataka,india. which is currently some cultivation is being done however since it is not affortable to do cultivation am planning to convert it into a N.A.

so kindly let me know the step by step procedure along with the concerned department wherein i can put in the application and also an approximate cost to convert the same in karnataka

File a application before Tahasildar. Tahasaldar will forwarding application to DC. DC will be pass an order on your application. If DC permitted to conversion you have to pay proper fee.

You have to engage local persons for follow up , it is not that easy.

You have to take the permission from the Assistant Commissioner of your Dist.,. You will have to file an application for that.
