Renewal of expired lease

The lease agreement entered into with the tenant for my aprtment expired last month and was inadvertently omitted to be renewed before expiry. the tenenat is continuing and has paid the rent for last month also.
Now, by mutual consent and agreement can I renew the original lease for another 11 months from the date of expiry which is last month?
For renewal of lease, what is the value of non-judicial stam paper applicable in Tamil Nadu?

yes you can renew agreement for another 11 months . as far as stamp paper is concerned contact local lawyer in chennai
