i have applied divorce on wife.we had been couples for 2yrs.after receiving the notice from court she put a theft case on me that i stole all her jewels.she confessed in front of police of her own custody of jewels for 2 yrs.police found out her complaining false revenge case.though police threaten me .the have not put any fir against me after 35 days too.i am in govt job.my wife try to spoil it.an important think is my wife is a lawyer.i am hardly depressed.is there no way to prove my innocence?pls help me

1. Your wife's case is just a counter blast and bereft of any spontaneity/truthfulness. How did she confess before the police ? Is it in writing ? If yes get a copy. Not only woul that reduce the present case to nullity but also help you in a 406 case that she might file in the near future coupled with a false 498a.
