i stay in a very old pagdi system building , whose condition is very weak right now but landlord is not doing anything abut this.so what can I do to this ?
and once previously we tenents proposed him for redevelopment but he said he will only give ownership but no extra area in that which is not correct in my opinion.

Sir,
You should approach the Municipal Authorities with a complaint about the dilapidated condition of the building.
In Maharashtra, in the event of redevelopment, the tenants have no right for free extra space, they are entitled to the exact carpet area that they are occupying.
Good Luck,

I agree with expert Mr. Kishor Mehta.
In Delhi the tenant cannot get permission for redevelopment, which is granted to landlord/owner only. However, landlord has to hand over the building to tenant duly renovated.
