Wrong Father name

Hello Experts,

I have a unique problem. My father’s actual name is: - Beer Sain Malik.

In my all documents starting from class 10th Certificates, This is spelt as Vir Sen Malik.

On my father's passport his name is mentioned as Beersain Malik. On my passport, father’s name is mentioned as Vir Sen Malik. Now I want to sponsor my father for a visa to Canada. I don't have any document by which I can prove that he is my father (because of the different name). My father can not change his name as on my brother’s document his correct name is mentioned.

Please suggest how I should go about it. Is there a procedure where a person can declare that he is known by 2 names? Can his 2nd name be amended in his passport?

Your father has to file a suit for declaration and injunction State Govt., Deputy Director of Public insturctions. You can also do it by swearing n affidavit, before doing this you make an enquiry in the pass port office.

Get a certificate from revenue authorities to the fact that both are one and the same person.You can also contact postal authrities for assistance in this regard.
