Sir, I got married in 2004, and my marriage was arranged marriage by my parents. After marriage, my parents have been raising trivial disputes with me and my spouse. Due to these disputes I was left the house of my father and settled with my spouse and one child. During the period of three year my father and brother again developed the relations and tell me not to search the property elsewhere and invest the money in the old house, I invest my saving and loan taken the father’s property. Now, they are threatening to evict us from our common house. The house is in the name of my father. Kindly, suggest me what I can do to protect my family before my father takes any action. Do I have any legal right to get back my invested money in the father’s house?

Have you kept any proof of the payment made by you for the house. If yes, only then you are likely to succeed. However, if the house is the ancestral property, then you have right to live in that house.

Yes. If that house is an ancestral property mean you can claim your share. Otherwise you have to prove that thing house is under loan the same is cleared out of your income only. Then you can..

to prove your invetment in the property it needs documents. You have said loan is taken In whose name it is taken?. You said property s in the name of father, whether this property is an ancestral or self acquired property of your father?, if it is self acquired then you cannot claim any share during the life of the father. If it is ancestral then you can claim your share.
