Correction of dob in school record

if you have sufficiant resons to believe that you have done mistake on your DOB and produce wrong information to board or University.
it can be rectify to fullfill the satisfactory document with affidavit and prescribed fee to the concern department.

It would depend upon where do you wish to make the correction.
The procedure would definitely be different in school and in Municipality which would certainly differs from state to state, city to city.

So better first contact the concerned office e and then come here for more clarification.

If you want to get correct your date of birth in the certificate, you will have to file a suit for mandatory injunction against the State rep., by Deputy Commissioner of the State and Deputy Director of public instructions. Before filing you will have to comply with SEc 80 of CPC.
Remember it limitation point arises.

It has to be declaratory suit also to declare your date of birth sought to be corrected.

So, you are advised to do any of one:-

1.If change in dob certificate, you have to follow Shri Rajeev And Shri S.Subramanian.

2.In change in School record, follow advised of Shri Piyush.

How would that mandatory injunction relief could be framed is known only to Mr. Rajoo.
Then any prudent man shall prefer to side Mr.s.subramanian WHICH I DO.
