Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 15 November 2011 This query is : Resolved
Two years back while i was riding on my bike(with valid DL and insurance) met with an accident n the person who was crossing the road got broke his leg. They registered a case against me and i submitted required records in police station and appeared before the court. Judge fined me Rs 2000 for my act. Now my question is do i need to mention these things while joining for a govt job?How will this affect me in getting a govt job? Plese reply.

This will be of no bar in getting Govt. Job.

Of course, not being of the nature of moral turpitude, such type of minor offences do not put any bar on Government service. BUT, in Attestation Form meant for police verification for character and antecedents of the candidates, any court case is needed to be mentioned along with the final outcome. In case you don't make a mention and on the basis of police record, the police makes a mention that you have omitted some vital information, your candidature for the post is liable to be rejected on account of concealment of facts about your public conduct.

You should mention this offence while joining as the same shall not come in your way of joining.

That is not going to create any bar in your way but you must disclose it in forms as they have a column.

No reason to differ from experts.
