can a muslim widow claim her right over her husbands business which is actually a family business run on a propritoship in the name of my brother-in-law?
or can she claim maintenance from that business till she remarries?

No. She cannot claim because it is running by brother in law. MOreover you will have to prove it is family business. If your husband is died before your father in law then you will have no share.

legal status of the business shall be taken into consideration for all legal purposes so better to file application under section 125 of Criminal Procedure Code and get the personal properties of your husband auctioned, if he fails to comply with the order of the court.
