Hi,

I am working as a contractual Network Engineer for a MNC org in Bangalore.after 6 mnths of Job now employer asking to do field work, H/W installment & even a technician work. which are not matched with our job profile & not informed me at the time of joining so i refused to do this. now my parent company &
employer asking to give resignation without giving me notice period. I think it's not my mistake that they don't have any technical work for which they hired me. So please tell me how can i resolve this issue.

Whether your contract had any provision of notice period payment?

Search for another job and join i get.

Yes it is there for 1 month or compensate of salary. But their intentions are not like that.

Matched or not with your job profile, you can't have choice, if your salary is not reduced.

Employees can't be expected to do jobs of their own choice. If not satisfied, better switch off to some other company.

Although networking and hardware are two different branches of the computer job even than networking personnel are given adequate training for hardware.
Employer may/can seek and utelise your service as required by the company/ employer which you will have to do without any remorse or leave the job in a dignified manner.

Notice period depends upon the terms and conditions of the appointment letter.

If you are not satisfied with the job, search for another job.
