I am representing respondent in a consumer complaint,complainant has paid lesser of Rs. 100/- in spite of actual fee Rs. 200/-What will be effect on his case due to this deficiency of lesser fees.Can he rectify this defect,if yes than upto what stage of the case.Kindly suggest

It shall not and does not take away your right to seek remedy before the consumer forum for deficiency in service.

Consumer court is for the benefit of the consumers, hence the deficiency of fees can be rectified at any stage of the proceeding. It will not affect the case in any way.

the court can decide the case and order the Complainant to pay balance amount and to get the compensation
