Suit for recovery

(Querist) 20 August 2013 This query is : Resolved
Dear Peers,
Have recently enrolled as an advocate and am doing a case of suit for recovery on behalf of plaintiff. The defendant has not engaged a lawyer and filed a WS himself. In the WS he has not specifically denied or admitted the allegations in the plaint. Also WS is without affidavit. I am required by the court to file replication. Can I take plea in the replication that since nothing has been specifically denied, the defendant may be deemed to have admitted and that WS without affidavit may not be admitted. OR I have to specifically deny/admit in my replication the averments made by the defendant. Thanks
