one of my uncle had written letter to my other uncle ( who gave it to me) which discloses murder of my other uncle by villagers.
i wrote to the police.
Police called my uncle who had written letter in the first place for enquiry.
uncle requested police not to consider this letter as evidence and not lodge FIR based on my complaint. police obliged him. what is option before me , i want to pursue matter.
(Whether name of suspect is to be disclosed in FIR)
Please come out with actual facts.

police is duty bound to registered a case if the police got the information regarding any cognizable offence. if police is not ready to do that then send the copy of letter with complaint to commissioner or Ssp of concerened area or file a complaint before magistrate u/ s 156(3) of crpc
