Hi, i have filled mutual concern divorce on the date 26th oct 2015. I have been told do come at court at 24 dec 2015.My query is when my divorce decree is going to be granted? After aix months of date of application or after six months of 1st motion i.e.26th oct 2015? I also have registered my and my wife's divorce application document at marriage regiatrar's office.which state tht we both are relieving each other form marriage from tht date. It was filled on the same date. I.e. 26th oct 2015. So can i get marriwd before my divorce decree granted?

What you have filed before Registrar's office has no relevance.

Having filed the MCD, you have to await the decree of divorce from the court. Till such time, you cannot remarry.

Thank you for reply. I want to know tht does court consider my six month waiting period from date of application or from the date of 1st motion when we both husband and wife are asked to.come at court i.e. on 24th december?

1. Divorce decree will be granted after six months from the date of first motion.

2. You can not go for remarriage before of getting decree of divorce.
