to file request for earlier hearing in magistrate court

Dear sir,
In our fraud case police has filed charge sheet in local magistrate court, while filing police has called up accused in front of magistrate and they have given date by next year almost after 9 month.
Can I filled request petition to hearing earlier as soon as earliest is possible
